盡忠職的警員王偉業(吳彥祖飾)，因捐血而意外救活了韓江(張家輝飾)，遭同袍責難其「救魔」所為。原來韓江是「鬼王黨」首飾，為人邪惡毒辣，多次殺警。在一次圍捕鬼王黨行動中，偉業目睹同袍被韓江活活燒死，勾起了他潛藏內心十多年，一年件不為知的罪孽往事，讓他精神幾近崩潰。偉業為了贖罪，開始用邪惡的手段伸張正義。忠直的警察，眼神卻是邪惡而暴戾，仿似是被韓江操控邪惡影子。
